The World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Innovation Areas (IASP) has thousands of visitors and their companions from more than 70 countries around the world every year, as well as widespread recognition.
That is why celebrating this Congress in 2020 in Seville would put the city in a better situation among the world STPs.
First of all, it would give the city a high visibility as a center of innovation, improving its reputation as an innovative city. This would allow greater collaborations with other technology parks, and many companies from other cities might put their eyes on Sevillan organizations.
Even Sevillian companies themselves will recognize the importance of having a scientific and technological park as the PCT Cartuja, and even participate in it. It’s an economic and social opportunity for Seville.
The companies that form PCT Cartuja, as well as the rest of businessmen and professionals of the city, will have the opportunity to register for the event and attend the presentations, workshops and talks that will take place during the Congress, where they will learn about innovation, entrepreneurship, and the latest trends in the field of science and technology parks.
Also, during the course of the Congress, it will be possible to meet executives, professionals and managers of other STPs from around the world, with whom to exchange impressions, and even assess the possibility of undertaking collaborations together.
These are some of the many benefits of the IASP Congress for Seville, but there are many more. So we need your help: show your support for our candidacy in your social media with the hashtag #SevillaforIASP, and let everyone know that Seville is the ideal city to host this event.
